Miguel de Benavides Library

THE MIGUEL DE BENAVIDES LIBRARY contains a rich collection of books and periodicals, listing more than 450,000 volumes, with hundreds of new materials added regularly. It also boasts an exceptional collection of rare books and manuscripts.

Recent technological advancements have changed library services. In 2003, UST started to use the Library On-Line Readers Network Zone (LORENZO). Through this electronic catalog, the borrower may search online for a book title, place a reservation on it, or view his own record of titles borrowed.

In AY 2004-2005, the Library installed the EBSCO, another on-line database of professional journals. Students can access this premiere academic database to view selected materials from these journals.

The Antonio V. del Rosario UST Heritage Library, which was inaugurated in 2006, contains the library collection of the late Amb. Enrique P. Syquia. The collection primarily consists of law books.

Also available in the library are discussion rooms, a conference hall, a coffee shop, and an area for photocopying services.
