The UST – College of Tourism and Hospitality Management won the bid to host the Asia Pacific Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (APacCHRIE) conference in May 2012. APacCHRIE is a federation of the International Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (I-CHRIE) which aims to globalize Tourism and Hospitality learning throughout Asia and Pacific. The APacCHRIE Conference is a venue to exchange information and ideas, to conduct research presentations and to sell products and services related to education, training and resource development for the hospitality and tourism industry.
