On January 21 and 22, 2017 (Saturday & Sunday), the University of Santo Tomas will host a Neo-Centennial Retreat with the theme “Sent to Preach the Gospel” for Dominican brothers and sisters in formation, youth, parishes, and congregations. The two-day retreat will be held at UST’s Quadricentennial Pavilion Arena.
According to Rev. Fr. Christopher Jeffrey Aytona, O.P., Promoter of the Dominican Youth, the retreat ushers in the new century of the Dominican Order, with no less than the future—the youth of today—at the center.
Slated to preside over the Opening Mass is the Very Rev. Fr. Herminio V. Dagohoy, O.P., PhD, Rector of the University of Santo Tomas.
The Neo-Centennial Retreat will tackle, among others, topics on the family and preaching joy. It will be showcase performances from the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe, the Letran Filipiniana Dance Company, and the Siena College of San Jose Dance Troupe.
