The Asian Conference of Religions for Peace (ARCP) will hold the International Conference of Women Empowerment Against Modern Day Slavery from July 20, 2017 to July 22, 2017 at the Conference Rooms 4A and 4B, 4/F Buenaventura G. Paredes Building.

The role of women in multi-faith traditions are highlighted as key to reviving family values and, as consequence, preventing the trafficking of vulnerable women and children.

As a contribution to the global celebration of the UN World Day Trafficking Against Persons, this conference aims to locate empowerment in the very nature of womanhood and multi-faith traditions to rekindle human dignity and good of the person both at home and in social relations.

ARCP is the world’s largest regional body of religiously inspired people striving for peace and interreligious harmony based on deeply held and widely shared moral concerns.
