On March 24, 2018, the Department of Biological Sciences of the College of Science will co-host the Philippine Society for Microbiology, Inc.’s PSM Cluster 2 Symposium, with the theme “Gearing up towards a globally competitive, accredited, and certified Philippine Microbiology,” at the Dr. Robert C. Sy Grand Ballroom, of the Buenaventura G. Paredes, O.P. Building.
Symposium topics include updates and innovations on Agricultural Microbiology, Aquatic Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, and Industrial Microbiology. Joining the line-up of speakers are Gil M. Penuliar, PhD, CBO, Pierangeli G. Vital, PhD, Deo Florence L. Onda (University of the Philippines – Diliman), Blesilda M. Calub, PhD (University of the Philippines – Los Baños), and Maria Angelica Caranza-Sunio (Procter & Gamble: Singapore Innovation Center).
